Leadership Team
At Town Church we have a leadership team comprised of our elders and then a number of deacons who serve the church in specific ways.
Our Elders
Ian Lancaster
Ian is one of the elders of Town Church Bicester. He is married to Kerri and they have three children, Corabelle, Tommy and Talitha. He works full time for Christians in Sport and runs locally at Alchester Running Club.
Jonny Reid
Jonny is one of the elders of Town Church Bicester. He is married to Caroline, has two children; Duncan and Leila. Jonny is Director of Engagement at Oak Hill College and plays hockey for Bicester Hockey Club. He did his theological training with SEBTS/Crosslands.
Pete Cockram
Pete is one of the elders of Town Church Bicester. He is married to Esther and they have three children; Margot, Edward and Joseph. He works full time as the design team leader at a digital design agency in the Cotswolds. He is also a keen musician and enjoys playing regularly at Town Church.
SIMON POOLE
Simon is one of the elders at Town Church Bicester. He is married to Elise and they have three children; Jacob, Reuben and Freya. Having trained at Oak Hill College he now works part time for the church and part time for Christians in Sport. He is a duathlete, running each week with Alchester Running Club.
Our Deacons
HELEN NICHOLSON
Helen is our Deacon for Children’s and Families and oversees our Operations as a church, working part time for the church. She is married to David and they have two sons, Rory and Vinnie. She enjoys coaching football at a local grassroots club.
Ros CLarke
Ros is our Deacon for Community Care.
She is married with three grown up children. She has lived in Bicester for over 30 years and has a background in community work and social care. She loves riding her bike and is involved locally with cycling groups. Ros is passionate about growing things, in the garden and at her allotment.
GREG AUGER
Greg is our Deacon for Finance. He is married to Catrin and they have two children. He works as a software developer, and enjoys running, reading and jigsaws.

CATHERINE REANEY
Catherine is the Deacon for Safeguarding and the Designated Safeguarding Lead. She works full time for Christians in Sport and plays hockey at Oxford Hawks Hockey Club.

OUR STAFF
Joe Spencer
Joe is our Pastoral Worker. He is married to Rosie and they have a daughter and a son. He works part time for Town Church and part time as a software engineer for a cyber-security company in Oxfordshire. He also loves going to the gym and eating peanut butter.
